Coat Colour: Sky Blue
Mane Colour: Fades from blue at the roots to white, yellow, orange, then red at the very tips. It's supposed to be in the order of 'hottest' star colour to 'coolest'
Eye Colour: Gold

Occupation/Special Talent: Inventor

Personality

First, and foremost, Bright is somewhat of a recluse who chooses to focus on her research and development. She may seem aloof and is somewhat short-tempered, but that is only when a pony pesters her when she is on a roll. Most of the time, she has a good nature, if a little to-the-point in her conversations.

For recreational activities, Bright prefers to cozy up with a book, but will take them outdoors on good days if only to become 'inspired by nature'. In addition, she is extremely curious around machinery and will often go out of her way to figure how things work. She is also a pony for etiquette and proper speech, but does know her way around Equestrian curses and utilizes them appropriately.

Biography/History

Born and raised in Manehatten, Bright had the opportunity from a young age to see the pinnacle in Equestrian technology. Unfortunately for her, that curiosity bit her in the flank when she strayed too close to an underground train and had one of her legs caught between the wheels and the platform. It had to be amputated completely and was replaced with a magical prosthetic hoof.

However, Bright refused to be slowed down by such a small set-back and attended Manehatten University where she earned her Doctorate in Engineering and Biochemistry. Despite her level of education, she never uses her title of 'Doctor' outside of legal proceedings. When she turned 27, the inventor decided she had enough of the fast-paced city life and moved to the Township of Ponyville.

To date, she has assisted in various medical breakthroughs, including prosthetic horns and wings for disabled ponies. Currently, her long-term goal is to manufacture a heavier-then-air flying machine and to find a way to give Steam-Piston Engines more power, so that ponies will no longer need to pull the trains.

Well that hair/mane color isn't familiar at all.

(I don't recall if the eyes are the same though; I didn't draw those.
